Sri Lanka, currently rebuilding its infrastructures after 30 years of civil war which ended in 2010, is inviting Malaysian companies to take up the projects being disbursed by the government and the private sector.

The Second Round of Political Consultations between Sri Lanka and Viet Nam was held on 04th May 2013 in Hanoi. Mr. Karunatilaka Amunugama Secretary, External Affairs of Sri Lanka led the Sri Lankan delegation with H. E. Dr. K. G. Ivan Amarasinghe, the Ambassador in Viet Nam in attendance.

The signing of the Protocol on Co-operation between the Ministry of External Affairs of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan will pave the way for a regular dialogue and enhance bilateral co-operation both in the political and the economic sphere, the Foreign Ministers of the two countries noted in their discussions at the Ministry of External Affairs in Colombo on Monday.
